I was a hyperactive child. In an effort to get a grip on her son, my mother found this book
entitled "Where Did You Go?........ Out! What Did You Do? ......... Nothing!" It was a book of cool projects that you could make with found objects, like a telephone with 2 tin cans and a piece of string.

Yes I did go out. I replaced the string and 2 tin cans with clay.

After college studies in pre-med, urban design, and architecture, I went to art school and began my career in ceramics. That is what I did. Thanks for the book Mom!
